Buying a Used Car? Want to Save Money?

July 14th, 2010 Monica No comments

In the following article we will show you how to find and buy cheap used vehicles. Many people are not familiar that besides buying a used car from private sellers or through used car dealers, there is another opportunity to find great deals – public car auctions. Public or seized car auctions can provide you with excellent opportunities to buy a good second-hand car without spending too much money. What is a public car auction?

To be brief, various federal, state, and local government agencies regularly auction off surplus, unclaimed, and seized property, including cars. Banks also repossess vehicles from non-paying customers, and sell them through public auctions.

Since there are always so many cars and the costs for storage are enormous, the government agencies and banks are all interested in selling these cars fast and cheap! Therefore, they auction them all off.

Public car auctions are commonly used by many car dealers and resellers who buy up loads of seized cars and soon afterwards resell them for a huge profit. These auctions are real and take place almost every day in various parts of the country. All vehicle types, makes, and models are sold there – SUVs, coupes, sedans, vans, minivans, even convertibles.

But it’s not only car dealers that can take advantage of low auction prices. You can, too. Everyone is eligible to take part in these auctions – no license is required. Whether you want to buy a car to resell, or you are looking for a car for yourself or a family member, a public car auction is the best place to look for an affordable used vehicle. How to find public car auctions in your area?

Public car auctions of all types and sizes are held all over the country virtually every day.

You have two ways for locating these auctions in your area:

Some Pointers to Think about When You Want to Buy Used Cars

There are many factors that you have to consider when you are thinking of purchasing a second hand vehicle. At these tough economic times, you have to be very careful on how you spend your money. You cannot be too trusting with the people whom you are transacting business with for your purchases and investments. You always have to create plans before you proceed with any ventures. This rule must also apply when you want to buy used cars.

If you have the money now that will suffice for the purchase, you must hold onto it until you are really sure about what you will be getting into. There are many things that you have to sort out first before you finalize your plans. To help you with this goal and ways on how to get to the end of the line, here are some tips and recommendations that you can follow. These may help you, especially if this is your first time to try investing on used vehicles.

Thorough Research :

If you want to buy used cars, where do you turn to in order to get good deals? If you know anyone who had experienced buying second hand vehicle, it will be best if you will talk to them. They can tell you their personal experiences on how they went about it. You can also take a peek at their cars and ask them about the condition of their vehicles. This will provide you with clearer ideas and inputs about the processes that you are about to take. This will also shed light on you if you are still undecided about the matter if you will pursue it or not.

You can also check out your local dealers that provide used cars. You can see their stocks and ask about the technicalities regarding your choices. If you are not that knowledgeable about cars, especially about the engines, it will be best to bring a mechanic with you as you browse through various stores for good finds. Sometimes, a very neat and good looking car may not perform as good as the one that looks much simpler. The reason for this is that when you buy used cars, you ought to be looking more closely at the engines rather than their physical appearance. You can always have its exteriors changed and remodeled when you have already acquired a good one.

Check the classified ads to see various models of cars as well as the prices. There will be a lot, so make sure that you list down your choices or cut the parts that you like on the ads so that you can think about it more after you are done looking at them.

You can also do this online and even proceed with the purchase. Before you do so, you must have done your research about the website where you will be transacting business with. You must make sure that it is a legitimate one before you tell them any vital details about you, especially your credit card or bank account number.

You can search for used cars from Car Auctions and Repo Auctions websites.

Buy A Car You Want At Repo Car Auction

Looking for a 90% off the price of a brand new car is very hard to find especially if you are looking for good ones. It is a huge deal anybody desires. The possibility of having such deals is made possible by Repossessed Car Auctions or Repo Car Auctions in short. It’s a secret that only few know of. However, anybody can go to those auctions without hassles and worries. Anyone can purchase a dream vehicle at a very low price. Think of a $400 price for a car, are you kidding me?

Most cars here are second-hand properties that were confiscated by the government, banks, etc. It’s because the previous owners have had hard times in paying their bills or their loans. That’s a very bad news for them, but a fortunate deal for us. Life may not be fair, but we can use it for our advantage! If you won’t act upon this, others will surely do. Don’t let the guilt feeling hold you back from going to any Repo Car Auctions!

It’s true that those cars are neither brand new nor high quality cars that anyone wants. Well, the truth is, it’s not only a used car, but a used car that was seized! Nevertheless, there may still be cars that are worth bidding. All of us aim to bid for cars that can perform great and appear appealingly as well.

The price of those cars can actually go up the roof in a blink! Many commit the same mistake like anyone else. They fall into bidding wars. Unfortunately some ended up in paying a much higher price than the car is worth. Everyone has to consider that fact. It’s the principle we have to remember. Get a list of price or a budget plan for bidding and do it before the auction. Then take note of it on a paper or your mobile phone. So, when the auction comes don’t ever go beyond that limit! You wll surely buy a car that you want!

Ok, So Heres my Dilemma… want Bike for college. To save Gas.?

May 13th, 2010 Monica 5 comments

So, I live in Indianapolis, IN. I’m attending college in Savannah, Georgia. I would love to have a motorcycle to get around down there. Especially with the lovely gas prices we are required to pay.
I’m looking for some local (INDIANA) public auctions, a Salvage lot, repo sales/ cheaper bikes. I would prefer a sportier looking biker. I’ve been looking at the Suzuki GSX650F
and the SV650′s. Ninjas, katana’s. i actually like the naked style of the Buell Blast. Something that would look good.
I have no problem putting in work on the bike.. so if anyone has any information about any place, auction, person, that could help a kid out, that would be much appreciated.

I live near St. Louis, MO, and i want a reasonable jeep wrangler. Low mileage, newer, HELP?

I have a crappy 2002 nissan sentra to trade in, cd player doesn’t work, about 30 percent of my bumper is missing, and my tags have been expired for over a year.. and somehow i’ve only had one ticket for it… Point is, this is the car i want, and i want it cheap. Repo’d vehicles? Police auctions? Anyone? I wouldn’t mind taking a criminals wrangler.

April 14th, 2010 Monica No comments

I have just joined a website and got the best deal of my life on a car. If you use this please come back and leave me a reply to tell me how you got on. I have been on the internet for along time and used many action websites, but never got a deal like this before.

Just 4 months ago I bought and Alfa Romeo from eBay, after buying the car with no huge discount I had to buy break disks, pads, tyres and front suspension arm, only to have to rite off the car 2 weeks ago for more serious issues. I would not have minded if I had got a good deal, but I never.

So why am I telling you this, well 2 weeks ago when I got rid of my car and I decided I was not buying a car from an auction site again. However when I came across a seized vehicle auction website I could not resist checking out there offers and as a result managed to pick up near new BMW 3 serious for only $4000, that’s right $4000,(BARGAIN) all it needed was 2 new tyres, and oh yes this car handles like a dream.

I decided before picking the car up if I really had bought a BMW 3 serious in good condition for $4000 then I would pass the information on so others could benefit the way I have. So here is the information getting passed on as I promised (my self).

Here is what they offer Seized Cars, Trucks, Vans, RV/Campers, Boats, Motorcycles, Dirt Bikes, ATV’s, Buses, Aircrafts. They come from the following sources; Repo auctions, Government auctions, Police auctions, DEA auctions, IRS auctions, Customs auctions, Bidding starting at $100 or less, Purchase directly from the source. It get’s better they offer Listings from EVERY Country & State, Choose from all makes & models , Up to 90% off retail value, and much more….

Remember please leave a reply if you use this website as a way of you passing this information on as I have done.
