May 8th, 2010 Monica No comments

Are you a motorcycle enthusiast? Then, this article is for you. In today’s financial situation people are into buying used or second hand items. Used motorcycle parts such as crankshaft, gas tank, fender, seat, bearing, battery charger, or any other part can be purchase up to 50 percent off of the regular price of any model or brand.Usually these parts originated from a defective motorcycle, but the parts that were not damaged are salvaged in good condition and sold at a price much lower than its original price. It is necessary that, before choosing a part, you decide the specific part you need. These parts vary in models and brands. Sometimes two models even from the same manufacturers may use different parts.Others would think that because they are used motorcycle parts it may not function that well or will only last for a shorter period. This is not true all the time. Used parts are sometimes taken from previous owner who has acquired new custom components and replaced the part and that this used part is still fully functional. Many used items may even have warranties if you purchased them from a reputable used motorcycle parts vendor. If you want to purchase motorcycle parts but you also need to save money, then this is the best solution. You may opt to purchase OEM parts instead. It is different from used parts since OEM means original equipment manufacturers. These are parts that were not actually made by the manufacturer of the motorcycle but are manufactured by another local company. These parts are labelled and packaged by the manufacturers as their own. Compared to proprietary parts manufactured these parts can be cheaper. Many people are still blinded by the idea that in order to have a nice, clean, sparkly and shiny motorcycle they should purchase brand new parts. But the fact is they are losing a lot of money. There are many used parts available in showroom floor that has the same quality and the same features with brand new models. This is a mistake many people commit when deciding to purchase a new motorcycle. There are many cases that you thought you have a better deal if you purchase a new one but in reality if you choose to buy slightly used motorcycle, you will be getting a much better deal.Another venue to purchase slightly used motorcycle parts is to visit auctions. If you need brand new or used parts auctions can be a source of cheap parts. The reason is that you are purchasing the parts directly from the dealer. It means that there are no second party claiming as manufacturer of the part and therefore sold at the original price from the manufacturer.Another means to purchase motorcycle parts and you don’t have enough money is to purchase it by availing a motorcycle loan. There are a lot of companies offering loans for those who want to purchase motorcycle. It can be from 6 months to 1 year term depending on the amount.

If buying a used auto or truck was one way to reduce the expenses incurred, finding the right financial institution providing you with a loan to do the purchase is another great option to cut costs. Many people are unaware that banks do provide loans to buy used vehicles with certain terms and conditions. These terms are not too stringent and are usually acceptable to all buyers. Capital one and HSBC provide auto loans to people who are purchasing the automotive from an individual or an automotive dealer. The loan can be applied online and is usually approved within an hour. A check is sent to you by FedEx which avoids all kinds of paperwork hassles and enables you to go ahead with the deal. The user must however remember that most of the banks will not lend money to buy old cars or trucks if they are more than four years old. The rate of interest on the loan will depend on the age and model of the vehicle that is being purchased. Newer the model, lower the rate.

Capital One has loan rates which is much lower than most of the other banks. Their online application is very efficient which takes only around twenty minutes to fill in and the response time is also fast. There are no hidden costs and no fees for application of the loan. HSBC is also equally efficient in offering their loans online. Their rate of interest is also low and the loan rate is locked for duration of 45 days from the time it has been officially approved. Application fee is not charged and loan application is easy with quick response. Credit decisions are generally made as fast a minute.

Used car dealers: is Manheim the more expensive auction to purchase from?

April 17th, 2010 Monica 3 comments

I’m a few weeks away from opening my first used car business within Canada, however Manheim is an international used vehicle auction. I was wondering if it is also considered one of the cheapest auctions for purchasing vehicles. I have access to their website and I am overlooking the sale prices of the vehicles and the vehicles are more expensive than I originally anticipated.

So, if there are any used car dealers here: do you find Manheim as being a cheaper auction to buy from within your area?
