Maybe make like $ 100 at a time, I want to know what do I need to do before I can re-sell a car that I have just bought. Do I need to get it smog checked, & registered even though I don’t plan to drive it?

Alright well here’s the deal I was looking online for governmental car auctions and came across this website called USgovernmentauctions.net and am not really sure about it because to see all the auctions and deals, they’re having u pay one dollar for a seven day trial, well anywyas the deal is u have to put ur credit card number and all that stuff in there now what I’m confused about is that I though all governmental websites had the (.gov) at the end can I trust this if it’s (.net) or does it matter? If u can just look up the website on google cuz when u type it through google it comes as one of the top websites and is like highlitghted, and all the highlighted stuff is things u can trust right? Sorry for this long story bt thanks to whoever replies

Best answer:

Answer by JetDoc
The web site you are looking at is a fraud. All they do is provide you with a listing of public auctions being held around the country, and they will charge $ 10 or more per month for the service. You cannot buy anything from this site.

There are certain reasons that would compel an individual to purchase a used vehicle and the most tempting one would be the price. Therefore, the perfect place to buy a second hand car is a car auction. Although the majority of the car auctions are aimed at selling used vehicles, there are some where new vehicles are offered. Every year, a huge number of motor vehicles are sold at these car auctions to dealers and ordinary buyers. Most people know very little about car auctions though these are an integral part of the second hand car market in the country. Probably the chief cause for that would be most car auctions are exclusively for car dealers and the the normal people are not allowed to attend them. Vehicles available in dealer car auctions tend to be cheaper than those found at car lots. However, there are many open car auctions where ordinary citizens can bid for the available vehicles including those held by banks and government agencies like the IRA, DEA, FBI and the police. It might be surprising to know that in addition even Government vehicles will be available in car auctions. There are even auctions aimed at the salvage market where the unusable vehicles are sold by insurance companies. There maybe a various reasons for vehicles to be auctioned such as off-lease vehicles given back to the firm at the end of the initial leasing period, off-rental vehicles that are no longer rented, companies reducing the number of vehicles, vehicles seized by financial corporations and finally, trade-ins where a vehicle is traded for a different one. Online auctioning services are becoming trendy and popular. Web sites such as eBay have their own car auction web site known as eBay Motors. Through these websites one can buy and sell a motor vehicle with ease and the amount the websites for their services are comparatively small. However, there are certain risks when dealing through a website and one should always exercise caution to avoid fraudulent scams.Although the motor vehicles that are offered at these car auctions might not be at very peak condition, there are some that would be in relatively good condition. Therefore, it is always better to accompany a mechanic or someone with a reasonable mechanical knowledge to a car auction, although at certain auctions the inspection of a vehicle before purchasing it is not allowed. Therefore, a car auction would be a quite appealing place for a person looking for a motor vehicle. You could get the chance of buying the vehicle that you have always dreamt of at fairly low price.

There are alot of things you need to know about car auctions if you plan on using one. They are fairly easy to use but there are a few traps for new players. Some people don’t know about the fees involved in car auction there are fees for both sides of they sale in most cases. The buyer will have to pay a fee, which is usually a percentage of the sale price and the buy most of the time will have to pay the same kind of thing. These fee are not usably too high but you will need to take them into account when you car bidding on a particular car.

When you are choosing a car auction it is often best to try and find one that will suit your needs. There are many different types of car auction some specialize in particular types of cars. There are car auctions that will sell nothing but used car some will sell nothing but second hand cars but most will sell a combination of both. If you are in the market for a second hand car then you are best to find and auction that will have more of that type of car. Some car auctions get very detailed in what types of cars they sell some will sell ex-government car and repossessed cars. The best thing you can do is finding out exactly what you want and then find a car auction that does nothing but that.

When you have decided on what it is your looking for all you need know is to find it. There are allot of lace you can look for a car auction some car auction will advertise in the mainstream media but most will only advertise in thing like car sale magazines and things of that type. In some areas car auctions are held on a very regular bases and are held at the same place a the same time. But some will move around from town to town and others will only hold them when there is enough stock to sell. Before you attend your first car auction you should first try any old place just to get a feel of how it all works and you will learn what to expect.

You will not be to surprise because most of them are pretty straightforward but there are some that get very intense and are often used by professional car buyers. That is when you will need to know you stuff to compete with the pros.

Seized car auctions are one of the best things to happen to a car owner. If you are buying a car, want a good quality and branded model but cannot afford its price tag, such auctions can really save you tons of money. Buying seized or repossessed cars at seized car auctions requires some knowledge and this article will teach you some quick tips to finding the best deal.

Different cities and states hold seized car auctions weekly or monthly at various localities. They are also called public car auctions and are held by the government agencies. The whole intention is to quickly clear the inventory of vehicles that have been seized from law violators or even syndicates in shady businesses. You may also find older vehicles that are decommissioned by the government from service. So be on the alert for classified ads in the newspapers.

These are second hand vehicles but even though they are used, the condition of these seized cars may not be poor. A lot of them are in near-new condition especially when law breakers love flashy cars and are always driving the latest models. Some of these are even modified with sports rims, new engines, and so on. So if you manage to grab one at the seized car auctions, the discount you are getting can be as deep as 90% off the retail prices.

Before you go to any seized car auction, always arm yourself with information. Find out more about a variety of car models that you prefer and determine preferences such as the engine performance, 2-doors or 4-doors, colour and so on. Make sure you already have a rough idea of what you are looking for because decisions have to be made quickly. One important factor most people forget is to set a bid ceiling. Decide how much can you afford to bid.

At seized car auctions, you will be able to view the make and price tags. If you are not sure whether the car is worth the price tag it carries, ask the experts. So it makes sense to ask a friend who is experienced with cars to tag along with you. If you can afford to spend a little bit extra, get a qualified car auction expert to come along. Off hand, two important things you need to do are to check the VIN and the mileage of the cars you are bidding on. The reason I mentioned cars is because you need to have your first, second and third choices in case you lose a bid. Normally, the government gives you a grace period of 2 days to inspect the vehicle before bidding so make full use of this time.

When it comes to the real bidding, be realistic. If one of the models is too hot a favorite, you may be required to pay more. That is why you need to set a bid ceiling as mentioned earlier. Do not let your heart rule over your head when you see the sporty black BMW Z3 Roadster before you going for a bid higher than what you can afford. Always go with a friend who can stop you in time.

Follow these tips and you should be able to find your dream car successfully at seized car auctions. You can find out first-hand information on where the hottest car models and seized car auctions and get ahead of your competitors at my car blog.

People who want to buy impounded cars should learn the basics of such auctions. Although the procedure works the same way as other auctions do, it is still better to come prepared and with a little knowledge of the ins and outs of such car auctions.

Choosing to buy impounded cars is a practical choice. The good thing about these car auctions is that you get a good car for a very cheap price. This does not mean that the car is wasted and out of condition.

Most cars that can be found in these auctions are well-maintained and in great shape. Some may even look new. So a very cheap price for a particular vehicle in impounded car auctions does not mean that the car is in a bad shape. Such selling price is expected and is the very essence of such auctions.

Impounded car auctions have very low starting price for various vehicles. However, a good find may attract more bidders causing the price to increase significantly. If you think that you are no longer getting a good deal and the price for the car you had placed your bid on is already high, do not attempt to outbid the highest bidder anymore in this case. Remember that the reason you are buying a vehicle in such auction is to get the lowest possible price for a car you want.

When choosing to buy impounded cars, it is best to check out the car in all its aspects including its history and background. It is also helpful to be well-informed about the top considerations in buying a used car – like what particular specifications should be noted and checked.

Do not be shy to ask questions. Remember that you are buying a car “as is” and you do not want to end up buying a junk. So it is just fair to inspect the car completely and thoroughly. To relate with the people in the auction, be aware of the rules and terminologies being used.

If you have serious plans to buy impounded cars, you have to find out the exact location where the auction will be held, the exact date and time of the event. Sometimes, local police agencies post ads and announcements of their impounded cars auctions. There are some who post the announcements in newspapers and other public circulars and in websites. Calling the local police department for some information may also be helpful.

Uncover more facts you need to know in minutes if you want to buy impounded cars simply by reading my blogs.

Looking for the best place for cheap used cars for sale? Many people across the world are now asking for a good for buying used cars. They can afford purchasing a new car but simply don’t go for it. Who could blame them? The price of oil is consistently rising and the recent economic downturn has not yet lifted. These two reasons are strong enough for not to spend much money. Though, people still require going to work and public transportation is not that desirable. So, the only option left is to buy cheap used cars. There are certain things you need to consider before looking for used cars for sale. The first thing you need to consider is what sort of car you are looking for. Once you decide the type of car, you need to identify your budget. It’s very essential that you stick to your budget no matter what it is. This is a whole purpose of purchasing used car. Obtaining a loan to purchase these sorts of cars or even new one is out of the question. You might get the loan but you will be buried in debt. You don’t want to ruin your refinances most especially in times like these. The market is full of cheap used cars for sale. There are some cars that impounded or repossessed by the government. If you are lucky, you may find a car that is slightly used and still sold very cheaply. You can visit auction sites in your area. You will observe that there will be businessmen who attend these junctions. These people buy these sorts of vehicles and they refurbish them.

If you run a business from your home, selling items at auctions or outlets, you probably don’t have enough home storage to keep all your inventory organized. Worse, if you store things in your garage or attic, they may become damaged and not usable for sale. Rather than stuffing things into nooks and crannies in your home, organize your goods for sale and get a storage unit just for them. You can store your shipping supplies there, too, so it will be one stop to pull and ship items you have listed for sale.

If you have a collection of dolls or antiques that sits in boxes in your home, storage Christchurch will help you keep them where they will be safe from being broken by other boxes, or discolored due to humidity in the air of your home. A Self Storage unit can safely handle your items and you’ll be able to organize your collections in a way so that you can find them when you want them for display or sale.

If you have a motorcycle or a jet-ski that sits idle during the sometimes chilly July or August days, you could probably use a place to store them so that they’re out of the way. Don’t store them in your garage so that you have to leave your vehicles outside in the rain. If you live in a flat, you have even less room for storage, and you can free up all that space by using self-storage units.

Lots of parents save special things from their children’s childhood, so that they can give them to the children when they are older, and they can then be passed down to the next generation. It may be baby clothes or crafts, but you probably don’t have enough room in your house to store all these things safely, especially if some of the items are breakable. Using facilities like storage Christchurch will allow you to enjoy your home without the clutter of boxes that you have had to work around.

You may have things in your home that you only use seasonally, like holiday items. Some of these can be bulky and large, and difficult to store in your garage or attic. You may work in annual shows or pageants that you have to store items for. You can store all these items more easily in a self-storage unit, and this will free up lots of space in your home again.
