Is the chevy equinox a great car?
i have a friend that got a 2006 chevy equinox for a really cheap price. he won it at salvage auction for 250 dollars unbelievable right but anyway the only thing that was wrong with it was it needed a new bumper which he got for 35 dollars (unbelievable) it has over 50,000 mi on it and he has been driving it for over a year now and has not had any problems yet. the car looks great and now he wants to sell it to me for 3,000 dollars because he recently won a 2009 lexus rx 350 ( very nice car) and has no use for the equinox. the car is beautiful and it is in excellent condition i just wanted to know a little more about this car. also im 18 years old and would this be a good first car for me? Does it have too much power for a girl to handle or is it like a sports vehicle?

The Equinox is a crossover vehicle. Not quite an SUV and not quite something else. Not sure the other one. We took an Equinox on a trip with seven people in it. 2 front seat passengers, 3 rear seat passengers and two peeps in the back. All the luggage strapped on the roof rack. We just swapped out the smallest people for the back area from time to time. The car performed really good and we all had a great time. It’s a GM meaning it will last a long time and will do whatever you ask of it despite all the GM naysayers out there. If it’s as nice as you say then buy it.
I would definitely buy it for 3000.00 if I needed a car. It is a great car. Go for it.
